About the Event
About Our Live Project
Symbiocene is a multidisciplinary Fine Arts & Science project which explores the interconnected relationships in nature. Our project group is comprised of QUT students under a Bachelor of Fine Arts branch completing their 3rd-year unit Situated Creative Practice.
Along with Symbiocene Online website, Symbiocene @SERF is developed with SERF's ecological research to communicate messages about climate change.
The comprehensive event Symbiocene @SERF is separated into three groups who each work together to curate a holistic, immersive site-specific audience experience.
Due to COVID restrictions and to prevent damage on the land, the live performance will entertain 40 people. The performance will be filmed by a student film crew. They are creating a documentary that will be featured on the Symbiocene interactive website.
